One idea that has been floating around for a couple of years is this: during the winter could City Hall park include a community skating rink -- a place for families and kids to skate, drink hot chocolate, and enjoy the winter outdoors. We pictured something in front of The City steps and beside the library. Something that could be temporary and that could be removed in the spring to make way for the flowers. We picture how beautiful the park would be lit up and active during the holiday season.
