Located in the heart of downtown Red Deer, Sunworks opened its
doors in the (season) of 1997. Since then, owners Paul Harris and Terry Warke
continue to stock its shelves with some of the finest and most well-known
brands of kitchen wares and home and garden décor. Not an ordinary gift shop,
Sunworks provides a unique shopping experience. At any given time, shoppers can
be found meandering through brightly decorated pink Christmas trees or hundreds
of gargoyles. Visitors often spend time leafing through cookbooks, carefully
choosing the perfect greeting card or quizzing staff on the more than 100
brands of hot sauces on store shelves. Sunworks staff, affectionately called
Sunworkers, consistently impress visitors with their product knowledge and
dedication to first class customer service.
Sunworkers are always willing to chat and place special orders from regularly
stocked product lines. In keeping with their dedication to the community and to
socially responsible business practices, supports the Red Deer and District Community
Foundation through a variety of community programs around Central
Alberta.
