Investing both volunteerism and money into our community has been part of our business since we first opened in 1997. To date we have sponsored everything from school events to saving cats to building endowment funds. Because we feel strongly about our community and try hard to make it a better place for all we are taking a new approach to giving. Beginning in 2005, Sunworks support projects that can have a significant measurable impact and seek to improve the quality of life in our community. We will be supporting projects in various sectors; arts and culture, human services, education, and recreation and sports.

Submit a short written request with the following information:
* What is name of your organization, and those with which you are partnering?
* Explain whether your organization is a registered not-for-profit society, a registered charity, or neither. Sunworks will not weigh one category against another. We do however note that it is more difficult for not-for-profit organizations and organizations without not-for-profit status to find funding sources -- so we encourage those organizations to apply.
* What is the purpose or objectives of the program or project? 
* What do you see is the role of Sunworks?
* Names and contact numbers should be included, so that we can phone for more information if necessary.

Deadline for Application is January 31,
We will consider applications for up to $3,000 for the year.

There will be some reporting required.
